Triple Leveraged Nasdaq ETF (TQQQ) is a fast way to get rich or go broke. This app was not designed to predict short-term dips and back-testing showed that it would have been wrong about 30% of the time. It simulates a portfolio that holds TQQQ only when there is no recession and it uses an advanced recession indicator, Treasuries yield spread. This app uses a 1-year trend to make a three-month forecast of Nasdaq and uses Unemployment claims and Treasuries yield spread to give early warning of recession. This app has a simulated portfolio that switches from TQQQ to cash when Nasdaq declines at the same time as unemployment claims rise or when short term Treasuries have a higher yield than long term Treasuries (or if Nasdaq declines during the two years following an inverted yield curve). The simulated portfolio has super performance over the backtested period of the past 30 years. The Unemployment algorithm was optimized using the past 100 years of US stock market data.
